Live Yoga provide fun and accessible yoga for all students to promote wellness in the local community. We were tasked with redesigning their website and improving online sales capabilities.

Increasing online sales during COVID

With the lockdown forcing many small businesses to be closed, Live Yoga was no exception. Unable to continue selling in-person services, they needed to increase revenue from online classes and products, which are sold via MindBody on their website.

Project highlights

  • Doubling pageviews and engagement: With intuitive navigation, visitors interact with more pages and complete booking flows more often. The number of visitors who exit right after entering the site also got reduced by half to 26%, which is well under the industry average.

  • Ranking #1 on Google and doubling visitors from searches: The site ranks as top search results for several targeted keywords, such as “yoga white rock”, “yoga surrey”, and “beginners yoga surrey”, which attracted more leads to the business.

Challenges

The 3 main problems with the Live Yoga website were:

  • Clunky navigation: With too many buttons and choices, it was paralyzing for new and even existing customers to know what to click.

  • Disorganized information: With new content added over the years, the site felts like a patchwork which reduces the brand’s credibility and makes booking/buying difficult.

  • Disconnection between Mindbody and Squarespace: The Mindbody widgets felt separate and different from the rest of the website, which reduced the buyers’ confidence to sign up.

Solution

To resolve these problems, a brand new site map and visual style were created. The website was designed and built on Squarespace in 4 weeks. The scope of work includes:

  • Complete redesign

  • Content reorganization

  • Transfer from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1

  • Keyword research and Squarespace SEO implementation

  • MindBody integration and CSS customization
